We want to create a community who share interests in how to hold new, challenging, opening conversations.
Who we are
The society was set up by four collaborators – Keri Facer, an undisciplined researcher and futurist concerned with time and listening, Åsa Berggren, an ecologist with interests in the future of food, Pernilla Glaser, a writer/facilitator/therapist drawn to play, and Jasmine Zhang an interdisciplinary researcher.
The society is also a loose network of people from all sectors of society who are curious about and exploring new forms of dialogue.
Our members are facilitators and researchers, community organisers and government officials. They join formal society workshops and events, run their own conversations and share their practice with other members and here on our website. Based mainly in Sweden and the UK, the Society has an ambition to welcome members from all around the world. Join us!
Society from the old French, meaning “fellowship, association, alliance, union, community".
